The next CFMA Cajun dance in Baton Rouge is on Friday May, 30th, 2008 featuring Rodney Thibodeaux, John Ortis and Tout Les Soir.

The UCT hall is located one block West of the intersection of Florida and North Sherwood Forest Blvd, at 11175 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.

The Baton Rouge Cajun French Music Association (CFMA) is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our Cajun music, Cajun dance, Cajun language and heritage.  We are a non-profit 501-C3 organization that has been in existence for over 20 years.  We take pride in a long history of presenting authentic Cajun dances in Baton Rouge.  To be added to our email list for Baton Rouge Cajun dance schedules, send an email to clarence@cajunradio.org with the subject "Cajun email list". 

The Baton Rouge CFMA has moved our Cajun dances to a new location. The new location is at the UCT hall on Florida Blvd directly across the street from the Rabenhorst East Funeral Home.  The UCT hall is located one block West of the intersection of Florida and North Sherwood Forest  Blvd, at 11175 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.   We generally host Cajun dances on two Fridays per month.

The CFMA Cajun dances are open to the public and you do not need to be a member of the CFMA to join in the fun.   High school students, college students, parents, grandparents, and tourists are welcomed and encouraged to attend.     We always have a bon temp, cher!  Admission is $ 8 per person. Refreshments at the dances:
The UCT bar will sell the following: Bottled Water $1, Soft Drinks $1, Ice Bucket $1, Beer (Can) $2.50, Wine (small bottle) $3, (No Hard Liquor Sold). Party foods are encouraged. No heating devices (sterno or plug-in devices are not allowed in the hall) You can bring in your own hard liquor. The hall does not allow any ice chests.  Ice buckets may be bought at the bar for $1.
